A taste of home, from around the world
Every HomeTaste cook shares the food of where they're from โ the dishes they grew up with, cooked as authentically as at home. A Sri Lankan cook making Sri Lankan food, a Nigerian cook making Nigerian food, right on your street. Reserve a portion, pick it up, pay in cash. That's it.
No delivery fees. No service charges. Nothing charged online.
How it works
From craving to your kitchen table in three steps.
Browse what's cooking
See the home cooks near you and what they're making this week โ biryani, dumplings, jollof, a pot of dhal. Filter by distance.
Reserve your portion
Cooks make a limited batch โ a "drop". Grab your portions before they sell out and pick a collection or delivery time.
Pick up & pay cash
Show your code at handoff and pay the cook directly. You meet the person who cooked your food. Build a reputation, unlock trusted cooks.
Not a restaurant. Not a delivery app.
Just real people cooking real food, close to home.
Authentic to their roots
Each cook is from somewhere, and cooks the food of that place. Browse by where a cook is from โ recipes passed down, not printed on a laminated menu. Every allergen declared up front.
From your community
Discover cooks from your own culture โ and a few new ones โ a short walk away.
Cash & simple
You pay the cook in person. No cards, no online charges, no hidden platform fees.
People, not couriers
You meet your cook. They remember you. Regulars get first dibs on the good stuff.
Already feeding the neighbourhood?
If you're taking orders in a WhatsApp group and losing track of who wants what, HomeTaste turns it into something simple: post a drop, take reservations, share one link, and build a following that keeps coming back. You keep 100% of what you charge.

How do I pay?
In cash, directly to the cook, when you collect your food. HomeTaste never takes your card details โ nothing is charged online.
What's a "drop"?
A batch a cook is making for a specific day โ say, 20 portions of Sunday biryani. When they're gone, they're gone, so reserve early.
Is the food safe?
Cooks self-certify their kitchen and declare allergens on every item. Many are also registered with their local council โ look for the badge on their profile.
Where is HomeTaste available?
We're starting in the UK, neighbourhood by neighbourhood. Set your location to see what's cooking near you โ and if it's quiet, check back as more cooks join.
